**Location:** Sparks, NV**Pay Rate:** $19 per hour**Schedule:** 7AM - 3:30M**Position Overview**We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler I to join our team. The Material Handler I is responsible for verifying and packing outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and safeloading, and assisting with the flow of materials within the warehouse.**Key Responsibilities**+ Verify and pack all outbound LTL and truckload shipments for correct quantities and items.+ Optimize and ensure accurate loading of all outbound trailers for integrity, proper sequence, and maximized shipment capacity.+ Ensure the proper and safe loading of materials for transit to customers.+ Assist in managing the flow of people, equipment, and product on the dock for order completion, incoming receipts, and inter-plant transfers.+ Operate digital scales as needed.+ Perform other duties as assigned.**Education**+ High School Diploma or GED required.**Experience & Required Skills**+ At least 1 year of related experience.+ Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.+ Strong basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.+ Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to interpret bar graphs.+ Problem-solving skills for standardized situations.**Licensing/Certifications**+ None required.**Physical Requirements**+ Frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear.+ Occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to handle or feel.+ Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.+ Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.**Work Environment**+ Work is performed in warehouse and/or office environments.As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
