The Host & Cashier is responsible for creating a smooth and positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing seating and processing payments efficiently.Duties:* Sincerely greets and thanks each guest.* Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.* Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately.* Seats guests in the proper order of arrival.* Accurate use of the dine-time seating system.* Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant.* Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.* Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.* Completes all side work requirements.* Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.Qualifications:* One or more years' previous host/cashier experience is preferred.* Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.* Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.* Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.* Must be able to speak and understand English.
