Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and creativity.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and execute menu items.
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory and ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a one year certificate from a college or technical school and one to two years related experience and/or training in the food and beverage industry and/or equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position

  • Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
  • Advanced culinary skills with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be able to work all stations: pantry, broiler, sauté, fryer, griddle.
