Network & Telecom Support Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a Network and Telecom NOC Engineer who is crucial for
ensuring the smooth functioning of our clients communication infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
 Analyze events
 Monitoring Network Performance: Continuous observation of network
systems to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
 Incident Response: Quickly addressing alerts and incidents to minimize
downtime and ensure services remain accessible.
 Troubleshooting: Identifying and implementing remedies to restore normal
operations.
 Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive records of incidents,
resolutions, and system changes.
 Collaboration: Working closely with other IT teams to coordinate responses
to connectivity issues.
 Communicate with site technicians or third parties responsible for
resolution
 Track issues through to resolution
 Correlate incidents with existing problems and also participate in the
identification of new problems.
 Manage all network and telecom deployments
 Support planning and execution of changes in network and telecom
production environments.
 Support deployment of new network and telecom changed features, as
well as patch management.
 Provide information on components and services availability, capacity,
and performance metrics
 Perform Disaster recovery activities, such as executing system failover
scripts

Required Skills & Qualifications
 Knowledge of service architecture, design, resource configuration, and
business impact of events and symptoms
 Expertise in monitoring tools, ITSM tools, backup, and DR tools
 Knowledge of service subject matter and business processes
 Knowledge of incident models, diagnostic tools, and methods
 Analytical skills
 Good communication skills
Required Certifications
 CompTIA Network+
 CompTIA Security
 ComPTIA Telecom
 CCNA /CCNP
 Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified- Associate
 Multicloud certified - Associate
 CISSP
Evaluation Criteria
 Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
 Ability to balance technical understanding with business priorities.
