This position coordinates, conducts and oversees marketing, advertising, internal and external communication, media relations, web/digital and publications, Community Benefits and community sponsorships for Renown Health and Hometown Health. In addition, the position is responsible for collaborating with partners to create and communicate a consistently positive consumer‑centric service experience across the organization that leads to lifetime loyalty.
This position is responsible for protecting, improving and promoting the brand and image of our valued community service and is jointly responsible for growing our business and our market share through direct sales promotion, services awareness and through building consumer preference in a competitive market. The Chief Marketing Officer is also responsible for building employee and community pride in our organization and services through efficient and effective internal and external communications by a broad array of means including internal and external producers and paid and unpaid third party media. This position provides the comprehensive and authoritative view of the customer and creates corporate and customer strategy to maximize customer acquisition, retention and profitability.
This position works closely with IT and operations leadership to develop and implement experiences and outcomes. These responsibilities cover a broad scope and array of services offered through the Renown Health System integrated delivery system business model.
This position requires significant talent, expertise, training and experience — in the areas of consumer focused experiences strategy, public and community relations, marketing, communication, employee communications, publications, media handling, and crisis management — combined with the ability to make sound decisions under stress, manage and provide support for a busy staff in a fast‑paced environment, and analyze and solve problems within budgets, policies, Renown Health purpose, philosophies and strategies.
This position does not provide patient care.
Education: Must have working‑level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Public Relations.
Experience: Ten (10) years full time leadership (management) experience in responsible marketing, communications and public relations positions. Previous top marketing and communications experience preferred.

Certification(s): Applicants with Accreditation by the Public Relations Society of America (APR) or the International Association of Business Communicators (ABC) will be given preference.
