We are looking for a full time, detail-driven Billing Specialist to join our dedicated financial team and play a vital role in supporting patients through their fertility journey.In this position, you will be the backbone of our billing and financial operations, ensuring claims are submitted accurately, payments are posted on time, and patients feel supported every step of the way. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love solving problems, and take pride in getting the details right, we would love to meet you.What You Will DoCharge entry, medical billing, and EOB payment postingSubmit claims on a timely basis and follow up on unpaid claimsVerify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as neededAnalyze, correct, and resubmit denied and rejected claimsProcess insurance payments, refunds, adjustments, and daily depositsManual billing for cryopreservation and storage of embryos, oocytes, and spermConduct financial consultations with patients regarding fertility treatment plansResolve patient billing inquiries via phone, email, portal, or in personWork with collection accounts and outside collection agenciesSupport front desk, financial counselor, and administrative teams as neededOther duties as assignedWhat We Are Looking ForRequired:Minimum 1 year of medical billing and/or collections experienceKnowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and medical terminologyStrong customer service and telephone communication skillsProficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and OutlookHigh school diploma required; associate degree in accounting or business preferredBLS certificate required prior to start dateAbility to manage high call volume and work in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesPreferred:Experience with NextGen or other EMR systemsFertility or reproductive medicine billing experienceCertificate from an accredited medical billing schoolExperience filing claim appeals with insurance companiesWhy Join UsBe part of a mission-driven team helping patients build their familiesCollaborative, supportive environment where your contributions matterProfessional development opportunities including workshops and continuing educationA workplace grounded in dignity, respect, and excellence in patient care#J-18808-Ljbffr
