Our Reno, NV laboratory is looking for a Lab Technician to join their team. The Lab Technician I will prepare samples with accuracy and precision in accordance with analytical SOPs. This role works independently and as part of a team to meet daily production targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met. The Lab Technician I follows safe laboratory practices and helps maintain a safe working environment.

Job Functions

• After appropriate training, independently prepares samples for analysis according to analytical SOPs using basic instrumentation specific to the department and methodologies
• Performs routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of prep instruments/equipment
• May assist with validation and MDL studies
• Inputs and maintains technical information to support laboratory functions and operations
• Maintains a laboratory notebook where applicable
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
• Performs other duties as required
