Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards./liliOperate sit down forklift in and out of a rail car. Requires the ability to open and close rail car doors safely and safely work within a confined space./liliUnload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas./liliPull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped./liliEfficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers./liliEnsure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances./liliKeep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation./liliFollow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely./liliCoordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance./liliPerform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process./liliConduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that cant be self-corrected to the leadership team./liliFollow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed./liliObserve all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate./liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpSafety of our associates has always been Our #1 priority.
