Continuous Improvement Analyst

Location: Carson City, NV 89706

Duration: 6 months (Temp to Hire)

Work Schedule: M-F (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and self-directed individual to drive implementation of the Continuous Improvement Structured Approach.
• Works closely with employees at all levels of the organization teaching, coaching and mentoring to drive a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving utilizing the lean and six sigma tools and methodologies.
• Develops CI capability at all levels of the organization.
• Positively leads change and improvement towards strategic objectives through facilitation and training of teams and individuals.
• Monitors teams' progress and supports as necessary to drive project implementation and sustainability.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum two years' experience in Operations Management/Continuous Improvement or equivalent.

Language Skills

• Strong communication skills (Bilingual: English/Spanish a plus).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point. Additional computer skills a plus. AutoCAD skills a plus.
