This position plays a critical role in shaping commercial strategy, maximizing property performance, and contributing as a key member of the executive leadership team. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and execute comprehensive sales and events strategies to drive revenue across all segments, including group, catering, and special events Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement overall revenue optimization plans and long-term growth strategies Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales organization, including hiring, coaching, and performance management Establish and monitor sales goals, forecasts, and key performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets Oversee sales pipeline management and ensure disciplined execution of prospecting, conversion, and account management activities Direct annual business planning efforts, including budgeting and revenue forecasting for sales and events functions Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive repeat and new business Identify and implement regional and national sales initiatives to expand market presence and increase share Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and finance teams to align commercial strategies with overall business objectives QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field 8-10+ years of sales / marketing leadership experience within hospitality, events, or a related industry Experience with large venue / properties Strong experience in sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels Experience managing large, multi-level teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to effectively engage executive stakeholders Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed (outside of the regular 9-5pm / Mon-Fri.)
