Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 2nd shift at our Reno, NV facility. The core hours are 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour + $0.50 per hour shift differential. What You'll Do

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies & finished goods
• Load and unload trailers as required
• Pick and pull stock for delivery
• Organize pallet area in the backyard on regular basis
• Organize material storage location in backyard and inside the building on a regular basis
• Complete forklift inspection on a daily basis
• Oversee recycling duties for assigned area (i.e., emptying cardboard bins to the cardboard baler on a daily basis, operating cardboard baler, etc.)
• Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
• Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
