Project Manager – Data Center Construction

Employment Type: Direct Hire-$140K-$180K Plus Full-Benefits

Position Overview

Enhanced Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with Data Center construction experience to lead large-scale, mission-critical projects from preconstruction through turnover.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full ownership of project execution—including budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractor management, and client relationships. These are complex, technically demanding builds, and we are looking for someone who can operate independently, drive results, and successfully deliver high-value data center projects.

You will work closely with field Superintendents, design teams, trade partners, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases: preconstruction, buyout, execution, and closeout
• Maintain full ownership of project budgets, schedules, and cash flow performance
• Manage procurement efforts including subcontractor prequalification, bid solicitation, leveling, and contract negotiations
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design alignment with scope and schedule
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients—managing communication, expectations, and overall relationship
• Conduct regular project reviews focused on schedule, cost, quality, and risk management
• Oversee the full change order process, including pricing, negotiation, and client approvals
• Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project plans
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety standards, permits, and applicable codes
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers and junior team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, with a strong focus on Data Center / Mission-Critical builds (REQUIRED)
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects ($10M+ minimum)
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and cost management
• Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and/or Primavera P6
• Ability to read and interpret full construction drawing sets and specifications
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
