Internal Job Title: Promo Operations Associate

About the Team

Our Ads & Promotions Operations team operates at the intersection of e-commerce, marketing, and advertising. We ensure our promotional and advertising campaigns deliver high-quality experiences for consumers and merchants while driving performance for advertisers. In this role, you will be directly responsible for managing our promotional & advertising campaigns across our restaurant business by working cross-functionally with our sales, product, and engineering teams.

About the Role

As a Promo Operations Associate, you will support the integrity and scalability of the client's advertising programs by building full-serve promotions, assisting during the QA process, and monitoring live campaigns to ensure they reach our customers' and merchants' expectations. In this role, you will:

  • Own rapid-turn promo campaigns for enterprise and midmarket restaurants.
  • Partner cross-functionally with our account teams across our restaurant business to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly.
  • Navigate a bifurcated campaign management system as we adopt a brand new Ads Manager flow while continuing to incorporate features from our internal legacy software.
  • Leverage SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to support campaign performance tracking and operational decision-making.
  • Assist with data entry projects to drive our migration and adoption of Ads Manager.
  • Work with product and engineering, using data and operational feedback to drive product improvements which directly improve campaign accuracy, efficiency, and the launch of new features.
  • Use new AI-supported tools to create process improvements to drive more efficient workflows with cross-functional teams.

  • You have 2 years of experience in scaled ad operations, digital advertising, data entry, or data audit; high growth startup experience preferred.
  • You have excellent communication skills, can manage effectively in a matrixed environment, and can move quickly to balance and reprioritize campaigns based on changing information.
  • You have 2 years of experience with writing SQL queries, diagnosing data, and creating dashboards cross-functional partners will utilize.
  • You are extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage high volume in a fast-paced environment while maintaining our best-in-class quality expectations.
  • You have a strong ability to work autonomously to troubleshoot issues, communicate to cross-functional stakeholders, escalate when required, and drive campaign issues to full resolution.
  • You're a self-starter who thrives in changing environments and is eager to expand your skill set.
Nice to haves
  • You have experience editing SQL queries.
  • You have design experience with industry-leading tools such as Figma and Photoshop.
  • You have experience driving product improvements with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
  • You have utilized AI tools in the past like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to improve and enhance your workflows.
  • You have experience pulling reports from Client, Sigma, Tableau, or another data platform.
