Under the supervision of the Store Manager or a Concept Manager, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the supervision of Bartenders and location(s) assigned.
The Assistant Store Manager is expected to:
Spend approximately 80% of their time at their assigned location(s) conducting inspections, managing inventory levels and reporting, assisting bartenders, and training bartenders on customer service, cash handling, and compliance matters;
Spend approximately 20% of their time on-call addressing unscheduled issues such as jackpots, schedule changes, and emergencies as they arise.
Job Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills and an ability to interact with customers and employees in a professional manner;
Possess excellent productivity, adaptability, self-drive, ownership and accountability, time management, focus and handling of distractions, and ability to communicate precise and concise information to the right people at the appropriate time(s);
At least 21 years of age;
Ability to obtain regulatory license or certifications in appropriate jurisdiction(s);
Have and maintain a valid Nevada Driver's License, reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, and an acceptable driving record;
Experience in a customer service position accepting cash payments, making change, and safeguarding funds;
Proficiency in the use of PC computer software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays when required;
Ability to stand for long periods of time and bend and lift up to 25 pounds;
Capable of multi-tasking, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required Job Task Details:
Train bartenders on updated policies and procedures as-needed;
Approve jackpot payout funds for verified jackpots and complete the required W-4 and Title 31 documentation;
Address last minute schedule changes for bartenders;
Supervise bartenders on shift and report complaints, absences, and other violations of company policy up the chain of command;
Verify compliance with company cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards;
Address customer concerns and resolve disputes as-needed in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements;
Count and reconcile food and beverage deposit funds and prepare bank deposit slips;
Assist in the resolution of inventory related issues to ensure system depletion functions correctly;
Generate daily food, beverage, and supply orders using established guidelines and procedures;
Perform other job duties as assigned.
