Position Overview:
The Enterprise Software Account Executive specializes in selling innovative software solutions to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) who utilize Rocket COBOL for their applications. This role demands expertise in executive-level sales, strong negotiation skills, and a good grasp of technology software sales along with exceptional communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
Facilitate COBOL technology roadmap discussions with ISV partners.
Support targeted sales campaigns for ISV application teams and collaborate with Rocket's sales engineers, marketing, and lab teams.
Align contract terms with the ISV's specific go-to-market strategies.
Ensure top-notch customer satisfaction, leading to strong references.
Achieve sales targets and strategic objectives while expanding the sales pipeline.
Utilize Salesforce to maintain effective sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Collaborate with management to negotiate pricing and contract terms.
Act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT leaders, influencing opportunities early in the sales process to drive profitable growth.
Exhibit a thorough understanding of how our capabilities align with business priorities and effectively differentiate from competitors.
Qualifications Needed:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in software sales to Global 1000 customers.
Demonstrated adaptability along with integrity and strong ethical principles.
Experience in high-achieving sales cultures that reward success.
Ability to approach challenging problems with innovative solutions.
Skill in articulating a vision, influencing teams, organizing resources, and achieving results.
A track record of exceeding expectations and effectively collaborating with Sales Management.
Business acumen and experience navigating mid-sized clients with a diverse product portfolio.

Annual salary range for this position is between $79,627.00 - $99,533.91 gross before taxes, with eligibility for commissions based on company plan policies.
