Our client is a well-established player in the RegTech space, developing technology solutions used by financial institutions all across Europe to do their regulatory filings.
Develop the requested requirements following the agreed procedures & conventions;
Play an advising role in the creation of software designs and perform follow-up of other SW development and test task within your experience scope;
Perform an intake and acceptance on SW development tasks and describe/adapt the technical design for the development tasks;
Execute the quality procedures on SW development and deliver high-quality components with regard to SW layout, performance, output, and usability;
Give support on developed software and software within your knowledge domain;
Take up responsibility for in the development of SW & unit tests;
Perform follow-up on validation test for the developed software;
Maintain/adapt SW documentation and artifacts.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years exp and good knowledge of Java 8 API
Good knowledge of JavaEE 7
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
Hands-on experience with major web/application servers (WebSphere, WildFly/JBossAS)
Experience with Maven
Experience with JUnit
Database modeling and hands-on experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in working in an Agile way (SCRUM)
Team player with good communication skills (written and oral)
Can-do mentality, while acting as a continual improvement role model
Fluent in English
