The core hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. Below are a few of the outstanding benefits that we offer:/pulliHealth benefits effective day one of employment./liliRetirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance, Wellness Reimbursement, and more!/li/ulpWhat youll do:/ppIn this function, you will:/pulliOperate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies finished goods/liliLoad and unload trailers as required/liliOrganize pallet area in the backyard on regular basis (assist during backyard attendant absence)/liliOrganize material storage locations in backyard and inside the building on a regular basis/liliComplete daily forklift inspection/liliPrimary owner for recycling duties for assigned area (i.e., emptying cardboard bins to the cardboard baler daily, operating cardboard baler, etc.)/liliTroubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise./liliKeeps work areas clean and safe./liliSupports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:/liulliMaintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas./liliTrack and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor./liliEncourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility./li/ulliOther various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned./li/ulpQualifications:/ppBasic (Required) Qualifications:/pulliA minimum 6 months of previous forklift or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting./liliMust possess a valid and current drivers license./liliEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
