Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

Location: Reno, NV, 89501

Position Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (3x2) Onsite 3 Days

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Minimum: Billable annual requirement of 1,950 hours ($5k bonus for every 50 hours achieved above that)

Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 full-service law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Labor & Employment Practice in Reno, NV. This practice is nationally recognized for representing clients in all phases of employment litigation, counseling, and training. The firm offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and leadership in labor and employment law.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Admission to the Nevada Bar is required.
• 2-7 years of experience in employment law matters, including employment litigation (preferably management-side).
• Experience in employment counseling or in-house employment law is preferred.
• Responsibilities include:
• Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Drafting and arguing motions.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive customer service and client contact
• Stakeholder interaction with governmental agencies and opposing counsel.

Preferred Skills:

• Substantive litigation experience with a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
