You may have experience as a: Automotive Repair Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Car Wash Mechanic, Machinists Mate, Boiler Technician, Generator Technician, Forklift Technician, Appliance or Equipment Repair Technician, etc./ppTraining: 90 days of on-the-job training in your region and 3 weeks of classroom training in your first year at our Charleston, SC headquarters./ppThis is a remote, home-based position traveling around the Reno area and covering within a 2-4 hour driving radius. Additional travel, including some overnights, during the first 90 days may be necessary for training purposes. Compensation: $32/hour./ppHow you will impact Belimed and our clients:/pulliTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments/liliMeasure and adjust digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipment/liliInstall, modify and repair SteelcoBelimed and/or 3rd party equipment/liliManage customer base effectively; prioritizing customer needs and balancing preventive maintenance (PM) workload with daily repairs/liliDemonstrate correct usage and application of equipment to customers/liliConduct product in-service trainings as required/liliComplete service reports, timesheets, expense reports and parts lists in a timely and accurate manner/liliMaintain an organized work vehicle with necessary tools, manuals and parts required to provide efficient repairs and installations/liliMonitor customer chemical orders, contract sales and renewals/liliPromote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment/li/ulpWhat you need to succeed:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/lili3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls/liliExperience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls/liliExperience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, amp probes and precision temperature and pressure calibration equipment/liliAbility to perform piping of copper, brass and stainless steel piping/liliAbility to read and red-line PID and electrical schematics/liliModerate technical aptitude; general computer skills with the ability to communicate effectively via e-mail/liliAbility to lift at least fifty pounds unassisted/liliAbility to climb over and crawl under equipment/liliAbility to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel/liliMust have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record/liliAbility to work nights, weekends and holidays as business need dictates/liliAbility to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements in order to access customer sites/li/ulpJoin our team and take your career further.
