What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol position.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or potential security-related threats encountered during patrols.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

+ Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

+ Support emergency response efforts, including coordinating with local law enforcement or first responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
