divh2Project Scheduler/h2pThe Project Scheduler will lead the planning scheduling efforts on multiple high impact commercial construction projects. They are also expected to contribute to Corporate Initiatives including, but not limited to, training development and delivery, data analytics, trend identification and reporting./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliUnderstand and implement accepted Planning Scheduling Best Practices/liliAnalyze drawings, specifications, and statements of work in the preparation and acceptance of usable Baseline schedules for construction/liliMonitor multiple project schedules being developed and updated by Operations staff and provide guidance as necessary/liliInteract with the Operations team and represent Clark and its partners in the best manner to owners, subcontractors, and their representatives/liliSupport the development of conceptual bid and proposal schedules with executive management and present to selection committees if required/liliUtilize analytics to identify and report on project trends/liliEffectively cost and manpower load schedules for use during the execution of the project/liliEvaluate the actual construction status relative to proposed plan/liliAnalyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule/liliPrepare Time Impact Analyses per recommended practices by commonly accepted standards/liliTravel to project sites/liliDevelop and deliver specialized Planning, Scheduling and other Project Controls training for Clark Corporate University/liliCritique, create, and recommend improvements to departmental policies and procedures/liliBe responsible for special projects and other departmental duties as necessary/li/ulh3Basic Requirements/h3ulliUndergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred/lili4+ years scheduling experience on commercial construction projects/liliProven success implementing strategic initiatives/liliDetail oriented and can manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment with minimal guidance/liliSkilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders and project teams/liliHigh degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity/liliAdvanced proficiency in Primavera (P6) software/liliAlignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, team player, accountable, ethical, innovative, resilient, builds relationships, builds people/teams and followership, sets direction, and executes/li/ulpThe work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role./ppThe Physical Side of the Role: Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work, whether its collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. The role demands effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work. While there are times for quiet concentration, youll also be expected to move actively throughout the office and travel occasionally to various locations, including dynamic construction sites, utilizing different modes of transportation. The ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds on occasion (think a box of files or small office equipment), is also required./ppYour Work Environment: Your primary workspace will be in our professional office, which has a typical, quiet-to-moderate noise and light levels. As part of your work, you may also be required to visit active construction sites. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment.
