Job Title: Parts Research Data Entry Clerk
Location: Sparks, NV
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:5
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Research Data Entry Clerk to support our service operations. This role focuses on researching parts directly from manufacturers, verifying accurate information, and preparing clear work orders for Advisors to use once the job line is approved. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research parts needed for upcoming jobs by sourcing information from manufacturers
  • Compile accurate part numbers, pricing, and availability details
  • Prepare and enter all details into the work order system for Advisor review
  • Ensure information is complete and ready for ordering once approval is given
  • Maintain accurate data entry and documentation
  • Communicate with internal teams as needed for clarification
  • Stay proactive in identifying missing information or discrepancies
Qualifications:
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Ability to research and track down required information
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Previous experience in parts research, service support, automotive, or similar environment is helpful but not required
