The Position
Custodial Workers perform general cleaning services to State facilities using various cleaning equipment and materials to provide a safe, hygienic and orderly work environment.
The Custodial Worker 2 position at the Nevada National Guard Reno location is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of buildings and surrounding grounds. Working under the direction of a Custodial Supervisor, this role follows established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure facilities remain orderly and fully operational. Key responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas; vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors; dusting surfaces; emptying trash and recycling; and restocking restroom and cleaning supplies.
