Position OverviewWe're in search of skilled and empathetic Personal Care Assistants to join our Nevada team and positively impact the lives of our clients. At Comprehensive Home Health Solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing individuals' independence and overall well-being in the comfort of their homes.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to assist with lifting, bending, and personal care tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for client transportation)
- Provide personalized care to clients according to their individual care plans
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (including catheter care)
- Assist with mobility and transfers to promote physical well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences
- Understanding of various diet textures and thickened liquid consistencies
- Provide light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean environment for clients
- Monitor for fall safety hazards to prevent falls
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and other outings as required.
- Deliver personalized care tailored to clients' individual care plans.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each client
