RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Sparks, NV that is looking for an Electrical Project Manager with exceptional talent. This person must bring passion for advancing energy sustainability, a desire to work on difficult problems pushing the limits, a willingness to value team success beyond your own, and an unwavering positive attitude towards sustained demanding work.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the planning, procurement, execution and close-out of 480V and under electrical power distributions systems
• Develop execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved
• Develop funding requests for new projects
• Perform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needs
• Work with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates
• Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or related experience preferred
• Experience as a Project or Construction Manager on $50M+ industrial or commercial construction projects
• Understand electrical discipline wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, single-line drawings, schematics, electrical equipment layout and be able to perform cable sizing calculations
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NFPA, ANSI/IEEE, etc.)
• Proficiency in construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
