We are a local and dynamic mechanical and plumbing contractor in the Reno/Sparks area, experiencing steady growth. We're looking for an Entry to Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our team and gain hands-on experience in HVAC and Plumbing Design and Project Management for both Residential and Commercial projects. This role offers excellent mentorship under a licensed professional engineer and skilled trades people, who are excited to help you grow in your career.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with mechanical and plumbing system designs for residential and commercial projects
• Draft system schematics using AutoCAD
• Conduct site visits to assess and ensure project compliance with design
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
• Stay engaged with the team to ensure designs and installations are completed within time and budget

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or nearing completion)
• Certification: FE exam passed or scheduled
• Experience: AutoCAD experience a plus, but not required (training provided)
• Skills: Mechanically inclined, strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Work Ethic: Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and engage in proactive planning

Other Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to work in varying jobsite conditions (sometimes loud, dirty, and challenging environments)
