Position Overview

The Product Security Architect - Jr. is responsible for assisting in establishing, defining, and managing global product security initiatives across the Cytiva product portfolio. The position works directly with product development teams, product management, and quality to ensure product security policies, procedures, and best practices are integrated within Cytiva products.

This position reports to the Director of Product Security and is part of the Product Security Team located in Marlborough, MA, and will be fully remote.

What You Will Do

1. Develop into the subject matter expert pertaining to product security.
2. Assist in developing product security testing and assessment practices.
3. Conduct architecture reviews, incident response, security forensics, and development standards/guidelines.
4. Perform security assessments on Cytiva products, including reviewing threat models, security risk assessments, penetration testing results, static and dynamic code assessments (SAST & DAST), and security documentation.
5. Assess newly identified security vulnerabilities and their impact on our product portfolio.

Who You Are

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field with focus in Cybersecurity; equivalent experience may be acceptable.
• Experience in product security.
• Understanding of product Secure Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of product security tools, e.g., SAST, DAST, Software Composition Analysis (SCA).
• Experience with Threat Modeling, Penetration Testing, and/or Product Security Vulnerability Management.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in the life sciences environment, but it is not required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $80,800 - $141,400 USD annually. This range may be adjusted in the future. The role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
