Sr Water/Wastewater Project Manager / Team Lead

This position is based in Reno, NV, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the Reno office).

About the role: We are seeking a senior-level Water/Wastewater Project Manager and Team Lead with experience in delivering water and wastewater projects. The role involves project planning, evaluation, design, permitting, and implementation for treatment plants, biosolids, pumping stations, and pipelines for private and municipal clients. Projects include PFAS, emerging contaminants, water reuse, aquifer storage, and groundwater development.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing technical documents, reports, specifications, permits, and plans.
• Leading engineering investigations, assessments, and planning work.
• Ensuring quality control and review of design documents.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and permit applications.
• Performing field observations and inspections.
• Leading design development from preliminary layouts to final drawings.
• Mentoring junior staff and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• 10-15 years of project experience, with at least 6 years in project management.
• P.E. license in Nevada required.
• Experience with treatment plants, pump stations, and process design.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Civil 3D experience is a plus.
