Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Scheduler with hands-on experience using Primavera P6 to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules across multiple phases of construction. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timelines are met and resources are efficiently allocated. This job will be primarily remote with some travel to regional offices as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
- Integrate schedules from various subcontractors and vendors into the master schedule.
- Monitor progress, identify schedule variances, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Work with project teams to update and revise schedules based on field progress and design changes.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and provide reports to stakeholders.
- Perform critical path and risk analysis.
- Ensure scheduling complies with contract requirements and industry standards.
- Support delay analysis and claims as needed. Measle maps and constraint impact tracking.
- Create man-loaded schedules.
Qualifications:- AA or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project sequencing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex schedule data clearly to various audiences.
- Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, and reporting tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost/schedule integration is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:- Certification in Planning & Scheduling (e.g., PSP from AACE).
- Experience in [commercial/residential/infrastructure/industrial] construction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
