About the Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact digital marketing campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement across all channels. This includes managing email, SMS, and mobile messaging campaigns, optimizing performance through data-driven analysis, and ensuring brand consistency. The role will involve content creation for landing pages, websites, and video production, supporting SEO efforts, and delivering visually compelling digital assets. In addition, the specialist will conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and collaborate closely with internal teams to align digital efforts with larger brand initiatives. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adjust campaigns based on performance metrics.


Key Responsibilities

· Campaign Management

Develop and implement engaging, results-driven digital marketing campaigns that increase conversions and drive sales, while coordinating and scheduling eblasts, SMS, and mobile messaging campaigns to ensure timely and effective communication. Monitor and analyze campaign performance using digital analytics tools, generating reports to measure effectiveness and making data-driven adjustments to optimize results, improve ROI, and enhance customer engagement. Additionally, maintain and grow the company's email subscriber list, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).


· Content Development

Design and build landing pages tailored to specific marketing campaigns and promotions to enhance user experience and increase conversions, while regularly maintaining and updating content on Port of Subs websites to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current marketing initiatives. Create content that supports SEO efforts, including blog posts, articles, and web content, to improve organic search visibility. Additionally, create video content, including scripting, filming, and editing, to support marketing campaigns, digital advertisements, and internal training opportunities.


· Creative Assets

Responsible for planning, designing, and executing high-quality digital content across web platforms, email marketing campaigns, and mobile app interfaces to enhance brand presence and drive user interaction. Develop visually compelling digital assets, such as website banners, infographics, promotional materials, email templates, and mobile app graphics. Ensure all digital marketing assets, from emails to web content, maintain consistency with Port of Subs' brand voice and identity across all channels.


· Research & Analysis

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, emerging digital technologies, and competitor activities, and translate findings into actionable marketing strategies. Continuously measure and improve campaign performance by reviewing key metrics, identifying trends, and adjusting strategies to drive better results.


· Collaboration & Support

Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive digital marketing campaigns and project success. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure initiatives are aligned with larger brand campaigns and company goals. Take the lead in promoting company events, such as new market entry and grand openings, special promotions, and community-focused initiatives, through coordinated digital efforts. Provide training and support to colleagues on the use of digital marketing tools and best practices, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable work environment.


· Additional Responsibilities

Perform other duties as needed, contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the brand.


Knowledge & Skills You'll Need to Bring

· Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on email marketing, campaign management, and web content creation.


· Technical Proficiency

Proven expertise in utilizing advanced email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) to build, segment, and optimize email campaigns, with a focus on automation and data-driven personalization. Highly skilled in managing website content through CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), ensuring efficient content updates and optimization for SEO. Extensive experience with cutting-edge analytics and ad platforms including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other campaign tracking tools to monitor performance, analyze user behavior, and implement actionable insights that maximize digital marketing ROI. Rapidly adaptable to new technologies and platforms, demonstrating the ability to quickly learn, integrate, and optimize emerging tools for enhanced digital marketing outcomes.


· Strategic & Analytical Abilities

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling the clear articulation of complex ideas and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various departments and external partners. Proven ability to lead data-driven digital campaigns, utilizing performance analytics and A/B testing to refine strategies and optimize execution for maximum impact across multiple digital platforms.


· Independence & Teamwork

A highly motivated self-starter with proven experience managing multiple digital projects autonomously, leveraging agile methodologies to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking abilities, effectively collaborating within cross-functional, tech-driven teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Work Environment

· Reports to the Director of Digital Marketing.

· Full-time, exempt role with benefits, primarily office-based with travel to conferences, meetings, and training as needed.

· Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.


Physical Demands

· Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.

· Ability to remain stationary for up to 10 hours.

· Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.

· Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and perform movements such as pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.


Pre-Employment Requirements

· Must pass a conditional post-offer background check.

· Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
