As a Materials Handler III, you will play a critical role in supporting plant operations by receiving, storing, counting, issuing, and transacting equipment, materials, products, supplies, tools, and inventories. Reporting to the Regional Distribution Center Manager, you will ensure a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain, performing various tasks to maintain efficient and accurate operations.
You Will:Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operate multiple types of material handling equipment, including fork trucks, reach trucks, and picker trucks.
Pick items according to established procedures and package and ship materials.
Use scanners for inventory transactions and perform cycle counts.
Conduct physical and scale counting to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Complete system transactions and procedures to maintain inventory records.
Ensure a flow of materials throughout the supply chain to support operations.
Perform physical inventories and assist with other responsibilities as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in materials handling or warehouse operations.
Proficient math skills and basic computer skills for performing inventory transactions.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Physical capability to occasionally stand, sit, use hands to handle, feel, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test, including for marijuana.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
